The Killing Kittens 7-day Sexercise guide

The 25th September is National Fitness Day, a day to celebrate being physically active. And what better way to celebrate than asking our KK members to tell us of their favorite sexercise positions and working out a 7-day plan.

Just 30 minutes of physical activity is believed to benefit our bodies, minds and general health. If the Gym is not your thing, fear not, together with 1Rebel’s Triple Threat Trainer, Clementina De Gregorio and our KK members, we have devised a guide where you can burn calories and release endorphins all in the comfort of your own bed (or someone else’s).

This guide highlights the best positions for maximum calorie and fat burn, to give you the hardest of workouts!

The Killing Kittens 7-day Sexercise guide

Monday:        Crouching Cowgirl

Ladies this is the biggest calorie burner for you. Think about holding a squat and pulsing in the gym for 30 minutes!!! Technically that is what you are replicating here. So good for sculpting the legs and booty, guys you get to take a back seat on this one and enjoy.

Men – expect to burn approx. 47 cals Muscles worked – core

Women expect to burn approx. 158  cals Muscles worked – quads, glutes, hamstrings, core, lower back, calves

Tuesday:       Reverse Piggyback

Guys this is the biggest calorie burner for you. It requires strength and balance and you will feel like you’ve had a full body workout. Definitely one to try if you haven’t made it to the gym that day. Ladies support your man by working your inner thigh strength and wrapping your legs tight around his waist.

Men – expect to burn approx. 187 cals Muscles worked – Full body

Women – expect to burn approx. 122 cals. Muscles worked – full body

Wednesday: Standing Splits

This position requires a lot of effort from both party’s strong form and posture from the man is particularly important here to stay standing.  It will help to build stamina and endurance, pretty much hitting every muscle in the body at some point. Ladies you can test your flexibility here by lifting your leg over your mans shoulder. Others not so flexible can lift the leg, knee bent and have your man stabilise you. Great for balance and stability.

Men – expect to burn approx. 157 cals. Muscles worked – full body

Women – expect to burn approx. 130 cals. Muscles worked – full body

Thursday:     Lotus

You’re going to create a lot of heat once in this position, this is a good one to work on rhythm, and getting in sync with your partner. Ladies think of the inner thigh strength gains to be had from this position.

Men – expect to burn approx. 40 cals Muscles worked – core

Women – expect to burn approx. 100 cals. Muscles worked – Core, glutes, inner thighs

Friday:           Shoulder Stand

This is one for the Yogis, great for core stability and increasing flexibility.

Men – expect to burn approx. 147 cals. Muscles worked – arms, abs, lower back, glutes

Women – expect to burn approx. 95 cals. Muscles worked – shoulders, upper and lower back, core, hamstrings

 Saturday:      Crabwalk Cowgirl

Again another position where the ladies will be getting the greatest gains, quads glutes and core feeling it the most but getting to use the arms behind for some support.

Men – expect to burn approx. 47 cals Muscles worked – core

Women – expect to burn approx. 115 cals Muscles worked – core, quads, glutes and arms

Sunday:         Missionary Plank

Again, another position where the men will get the most gains. Great for core strength and you can expect to feel some serious shoulder burn too. Ladies lift your hips and squeeze your butt for an added glute workout here.

Men – expect to burn approx. 140 cals. Muscles worked – arms, shoulders, chest, abs, lower back

Women – expect to burn approx. 43 cals. Muscles worked  – Glutes and Abs
